Privacy Policy

NTETracker ("hethereau.gg", "we", "us") is a free community tool for tracking Scarborough Fair pity in Neverness to Everness. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

What we collect

Email addresses

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. We use double opt-in: you must click a confirmation link before we store your email as confirmed. You can optionally provide your email when submitting feedback.

Feedback

When you submit feedback, we store the feedback type, title, description, the page URL you submitted from, and a vote fingerprint. Email is optional and only collected if you provide it.

Language interest

When you click a "coming soon" language option, we record which language was clicked. This is anonymous — no personal information is attached.

Rate limiting

We use IP-based rate limiting to prevent abuse. This data is held in-memory only and is not persisted to any database. It resets on every deployment.

How we use your data

• Email addresses — to send you launch notifications, blog updates (if opted in), and confirmation emails. Nothing else.
• Feedback — to improve NTETracker. Public feedback may appear on our roadmap (without your email).
• Language interest — to prioritize which languages we add support for.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate NTETracker:

• Supabase — database and authentication. Data is stored in Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL with Row Level Security enabled.
• Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery (confirmation emails, launch notifications, blog updates).
• Vercel — hosting and analytics. Vercel may collect basic analytics data (page views, geography) as part of its hosting service.

We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.

Cookies

NTETracker does not use tracking cookies. Vercel and Supabase may set strictly functional cookies required for the site to operate.

Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you, or by contacting us directly. Feedback data is retained indefinitely to support our roadmap and product development.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can also object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@hethereau.gg and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children's privacy

NTETracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of NTETracker after changes constitutes acceptance.
